This song came from a moment when i realized i was happy with my life and my friends and what i was doing and who i was becoming, I look back at my life and see myself stuck in situations that are miserable and were keeping me down. I wish i had the ability to realize this when i was younger, that i had the confidence to leave situations that were abusive. I feel like I've finally taken my life in my own hands.
